Scheduling Appointments

Here is the step-by-step process of what you can expect when scheduling an appointment with us.

How To Schedule

Scheduling your first appointment is easy! All you have to do is fill out the appointment request form on our website. After which, a member of our team will contact you to confirm your appointment. You can schedule an appointment as soon as two days in advance which is great if you have a busy schedule and gives us adequate time to prepare for your visit.

How Long Are Appointments?

New patient appointments usually last around 45 minutes to an hour while follow-up appointments are shorter, lasting approximately 30 minutes. This is because new patients are required to fill out a new patient application form that usually takes 10-15 minutes to complete.

After which you are given a tour of our facility if needed, and then a member of our team will go over your health history with you. This is followed by a consultation, neurological evaluation, and full spine x-rays.

Efficiency Matters To Us

At Concise Chiropractic, we understand that your time is valuable, which is why we strive to be as efficient as possible without compromising the quality of care you receive.

What’s Going To Happen Over The Lifespan of Care?

The Gonstead technique is a specific and scientific approach to chiropractic care. It is a hands-on method that uses adjustments, instrumentation, and other physical therapies to treat a variety of conditions.

The Gonstead technique is based on the principle that the human body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. When the nervous system is functioning properly, the body can heal itself. However, when there is interference in the nervous system, the body is unable to function properly and heal.

Three Parts of Care

Here are the three phases and what to expect during your Gonstead chiropractic treatment:

1st Phase: Halting

The first phase of care is focused on reducing the symptoms and halting the progression of the condition. This is done by reducing the inflammation and irritation of the nervous system.

During this phase, you may need to visit the chiropractor more frequently and as your condition improves, the frequency of visits will be reduced.

2nd Phase: Holding

The second phase of care is focused on stabilizing the condition and preventing a re-occurrence of symptoms. This is done by strengthening the muscles and joints that support the spine, as well as improving the function of the nervous system.

3rd Phase: Maintenance

The third phase of care is focused on maintaining the improvements that have been made and preventing further injury. This is done by continuing with regular maintenance visits.

What To Expect From Start to Finish

If you’ve never been to a chiropractor before, you may be wondering what to expect during a Gonstead chiropractic visit from start to finish. Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect when you visit us:

When you first arrive at our office, you will be greeted by our friendly staff. They will ask you to fill out some paperwork if you are a new member. Then you will be given a tour of our facility if you need one.

After which, we’ll delve into your consultation where we’ll ask questions regarding your health history, surgical and medical history, and current condition. This will be followed by a neurological evaluation which includes a physical examination and instrumentation. During this stage, we’ll use our SPACE-certified, NASA-published technology to locate the interference in your nervous system.

After which, we’ll take some full spine x-rays to get a better look at what’s going on. Once we have all the information we need, we’ll report our findings and propose a treatment plan that is customized to your specific problem.

Once that’s done, we’ll guide you through your first manual adjustment and we’ll advise you on how to maintain your progress with regular chiropractic visits.
